Worship Leader

Eric Douglass
My wife, Anna, and I, along with our son Zachariah, moved to Goddard in September of 2009.  I have the privilege to use music to proclaim the truth of God's Word on Sunday mornings here at Beacon.  God has given me a passion to make Him famous and to live a life of worship, and music is one ways I get to do that.  My hope and prayer for myself and others is Romans 12:1 - "...in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship."

The mission of the Music team is:  Glorifying God by using music and the arts to create an environment in which to lead the body of Christ into an encounter with God, in Spirit and in Truth so that God may work in and through us for His glory.  This is a lifestyle of worship inside and outside the church building.

Administrative Assistant

Misty Perigo
Misty has been the Administrative Assistant at Beacon Community Church since May of 2009.  She and her husband Jason have been married for 14 years and together they have two beautiful daughters Shae and Jade, 3 dogs that believe they are humans, one very spoiled horse and two birds.  Misty enjoys hunting along with her husabnd, spending time in the outdoors, Oklahoma Sooners football and being a Equestrian sports Mommy.  Misty came to know Christ as her savior in her early 20’s and continues her daily walk of following her Lord and Savior and earnestly seeking to be more like Him.

As the church Administrative Assistant, Misty feels she is blessed to be able to work with so many different people on so many different levels.  She takes honor in her position and loves to serve Christ in this realm.

Misty is also the Hospitality Team Leader.  The Hospitality Ministry Team strives to reach out and warmly welcome guests and Beacon regular attenders to our fellowship each Sunday morning.  Our goal is that every guest will feel warmly welcomed, will experience a genuine connection to our church family and will know they are important to us. We pray that each person leaving our worship service will have a lasting imprint on their hearts and a rekindled desire to seek God.
