August 30th of 2009, Beacon Community Church sent Jenny Swanson into the missions field through SIM (serving in missions) to serve in remote area's of Ethiopia.  With her service skills in medicine she has already served in Tikempt Ishet as a Community Nurse and Midwife. Jenny feels she was called by God at a very early age into Missions.  She always knew she was born to this line of ministry and eagerly accepted God's will for her and has enjoyed serving Him in this realm.
