Pastor Craig Seifferth

Craig Seifferth grew up in Southern Illinois just east of St. Louis. He attended Illinois State University on a football scholarship from 1978-1982 where he started at center for the Redbirds for three years. It was during a mandatory team meeting his freshman year with Campus Crusade for Christ that Craig heard about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

After accepting Christ as his personal Savior he was discipled for the next four years by his spiritual father and mentor, and caught a vision for pouring his life into other men.

Following graduation with a degree in Speech Communications, Craig served with Campus Crusade for Christ for nine years, beginning in 1983. He spent four years at the University of Michigan with the athletic branch, Athletes in Action where he became a huge Michigan fan (he bleeds maize and blue), and his remaining five years at Northern Illinois University as the Campus Director. He then went on to attend Dallas Theological Seminary (Pastoral Leadership Tract) and graduated in 1997 with a Th.M (Masters of Theology).

While in seminary Craig attended Fellowship Bible Church North where he served as an intern and Minichurch leader and grew in his understanding of leadership and small groups.

Craig joined the staff at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship in Carrollton, Texas as an intern and then Singles Pastor from 1999-2004. In the summer of 2004 he accepted the Campus Pastor position at Grace Community Church in Athens, TX.

He was called as the daughter church Plant Pastor of West Evangelical Free Church in 2007. Beacon Community Church was launched on Easter Sunday, 2008. His passion is teaching others how to study God's Word and longs for them to grow in intimacy with Christ.

Apart from Jesus, Craig has two great loves: his beautiful wife Linda and his precious daughter Elizabeth Grace (Ellie). In his spare time Craig enjoys working out, playing with his Labrador retriever Solomon, swimming with Ellie, and keeping up with Michigan football and St. Louis Cardinal's baseball.
